Welcome to our household on May 2nd In our household on 2 Mai, every guest is welcomed with the same joy with which we welcome our family and friends. Casa Georgeta and Arome Dobrogene are not two different places, but two experiences that complement each other. Casa Georgeta offers the tranquility of a stay near the sea, and Arome Dobrogene is the local gastronomic point where we prepare daily dishes inspired by the culinary traditions of Dobrogea. We want every person who crosses our threshold to feel welcome and discover the authentic hospitality of a Dobrogea household. It all starts with Georgeta Georgeta didn't learn to cook in a cooking school. She learned on her own, out of passion, trying recipes and gathering inspiration from traditional Dobrogea cuisine, family recipes, and the places she discovered over the years. For her, each dish is more than a recipe. It is an attempt to rediscover the tastes of childhood and share them with those who cross her threshold. The greatest joy is to see people smiling after the meal and saying: "I felt like I was eating at my mother's house." The taste of childhood and Dobrogea cuisine In our kitchen, we prepare a limited number of dishes daily using ingredients from our own household and from authorized local producers. We are inspired by the traditional cuisine of Dobrogea, but also by the family meals that accompanied our childhood. Among the preparations that represent us are: fish plate; Dobrogean tochitura; moussaka; the scorch marks; homemade bread. The smell of bread freshly baked from the oven reminds Georgeta of her childhood, when in Dobruja households bread was baked in a proofer, and the whole family gathered around the table. We want our guests to feel the same emotion. What does a local gastronomic point mean? Arome Dobrogene is an authorized local gastronomic point, a concept created to highlight traditional gastronomy and local producers. Unlike a regular restaurant, in a local gastronomic point the dishes are cooked in limited quantities, on the day of serving, using fresh and seasonal ingredients. For us, this means more than just following rules. It means cooking with the same care as we would cook for our own family and offering guests an authentic experience in a Dobrudja household. Dobrogean hospitality Next to Georgeta is Iulia, who welcomes guests with the same warmth and care. Together we want every person who arrives at Casa Georgeta and Arome Dobrogene to feel that they are not just coming to eat or stay, but that they are welcome in the household of a family who loves what they do.
